Elevate your playing experience with our **Pernambuco Violin Bow**, a perfect blend of quality and craftsmanship that offers exceptional value for musicians at all levels. Each individual bow is fully handcrafted using the finest materials - high grade pernambuco wood, silver accessories, and premium horse-hair. Discover its sweet sound in the video below as you listen to our expert and professional violinist Robert Mahon play, who is also on hand to provide personalised recommendations tailored to your instrument and skill level. Robert has added one of these bows to his personal collection, and it has become one of his favourites to use in concerts.

Message from Robert: Choosing a good bow is a very personal experience. A huge amount will depend on your own violin, and your own playing style. Some violins require a light bow to allow the best possible resonance of their instrument - this is certainly the case with my own violin. With the 50.9g and the 61.4g bow, my violin comes alive! For certain techniques, different bows will work for you - for chord playing, I enjoy the 62.6g and for spiccato, the 62.4g. Whatever your violin, or playing style, I’m certain you will find a beautiful bow to suit you here. Please send me a message to arrange to come try them out.

Bow weights:

62.7g: Nice weight and tone, strong at tip.

62.6g: Beautiful legato, clean chord playing, even tone throughout.

62.4g: Beautiful sound, very responsive for spiccato, good even legato, bright and resonant, good control at the tip.

61.4g: Great feel and balance. Violin comes alive with this bow. Beautfully resonant on E string and capable of projecting a strong legato.

60.6g: Beautiful tone, especially for chords, great feel through the middle. Light at the tip but very responsive and resonant in the upper half.

60.3g: Nice bow, even weight distribution, good tone at the tip. Overall, extremely responsive and resonant.

60.1g: Exceptional. Really resonant tone, great feel, slightly light at tip but stronger stick than expected.

59.6g: Beautiful tone especially chords, slightly light at tip, perfect balance

58.9g: Light but beautiful feel and sound especially on E string. Lovely feel through middle on legato and surprisingly strong in the upper half

58.3g: A little on the light side but surprisingly strong stick, very bright resonant sound.
